Call to order: 7:30 PM

Attendees: John White, Skip Pringle, Cherie Snyder, Ken Codero, Carlos Cordero, Al Amato, Scott Blankenship, Dan Blankenship, Tonya and Chris Dallhoff and Mel Walters

Guests: Nick has his first Z a 1996 - 2+2 Found us through the Orlando Sentinel.

Richie has a 1972 240 Z Orange and has owned it for about three years.

Jeremy has a 1995 Z 32 Twin Turbo

Secretary: Read from the minutes to review old business.

Treasurer’s Report: Not present but we are solvent.

Membership: Kathy not present. It was decided that a business card was acceptable to promote membership.

Old Business: Scott Blankenship is working on the business cards for the club, they will have the internet site address on them. WWW.Centralfloridazclub.com

Clark Stevens phone number is in the Sentinel for people to call for information.

Special Olympics photo session took place but they have not been downloaded to the internet site. Nor disbursed for any publicity.

The club had window decals for the auto’s, Scott B. will ask Kathy about contacting Jerry Catha to see if he still has any of the club material.

Our internet server is now Go Daddy. Much better pricing.

E-mail list for club members is being brought up to date

New Business: John will post a “How to download to our club internet site” so members can load their pictures.

He will also start a “Ask the expert Forum”

A contest about the internet site was suggested to get people to start using it often during the month. Maybe a hat or shirt for the most posts.

Dan would like to get the information from last years Z Fest. Contacts for the parking lot, restaurant, sponsors etc. He would like to get started with the planning.

Events: Next outing for the Z Club will be Saturday Oct 30, SCCA is having an autocross at the Deland Airport. $30.00 for Non-members and $25.00 for members.

Nothing was discussed for Nov.

Our Christmas party will be Thursday, Dec.15. 6:30 PM at Tony Roma’s, John is supposed to verify the reservation.

Nine members are on the board of the Florida Z Association

Our local Z Fest is changing to Oct. 2006

Ken Jones is trying to organize an autocross at the Ocala speedway 2^nd weekend in November.

They would like to have 4 events a year.

They have been awarded the National Z event for October 2007. It is the 20^th anniversary of ZCCA.

They are negotiating with Daytona raceway for the 5-6 day event.

Start on a Monday, Track event, auto cross, drag race event and access to Daytona USA.

They have another meeting with Daytona this month.
